The steps plus my heart rate makes it think I'm exercising. Add in walking or some sort of activity and it starts logging steps. The thing is, I could be sitting and it's telling me I'm in one of these zones. These are values that Fitbit has come up with based on my age, weight, etc. Occasionally, I've even hit the "peak" heart rate. What's funny is it keeps telling me I'm in the "fat burning zone" and sometimes I'm in the "cardio" zone. The sleep tracker is pretty decent and useful, the steps are usually semi accurate (unless I'm driving), and the heart rate monitor is pretty good. I saw the HR was on sale for like $70 so I bought it. I also have a trip coming up that will require a lot of walking, so I'm trying to walk more (which is super fun.). I've been wanting a Fitbit or something similar to give me a ballpark number of my heart rate throughout the day without me having to keep track of my pulse ox.
